Falling Through Ceilings

Because sometimes 140 characters on Twitter just isn't enough.

badoobap!

I just read the BAFTA Nominations list, and I've seen three of the films. That's right, just three.

Coraline
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
The Gruffalo

I think that this maybe says something about the films I spend my time watching.

I've now seen all thirteen released episodes of Glee. I think that maybe says something too.

(Edit 24/01/10) NEWSFLASH: I've seen Coco Before Chanel now too. It's quite good.

Even if the sky is falling down (dooown dooown)

Okay so I thought that I couldn't love Helena Bonham Carter more but I was wrong wrong wrong.

And Matthew Macfadyen. I can't wait until I've finished reading Little Dorrit so that I can rewatch him in the TV series (now on page 371! Nearly half way?)

Oh Enid was so good.

I just want to write Helena some fanmail but I think it may end up being so long that she would not bother reading it...

I don't really know the words to this but it entertains and amuses me.

Oh and I watched the new Doctor Who episode today which was also fabulous. I was a little reluctant to watch it simply because it takes so much out of me (the same reasons I haven't watched the latest Torchwood or that Sarah Jane Adventures episode with the Doctor in it)

It was pretty amazing though & reminded me why I love the show so much :)

Oh gosh.

So, what happens when you combine one of my favourite Actresses ever and one of my favourite childhood authors?

The combination of bliss and joy that is Enid - that's right, Helena Bonham Carter is taking on the role of Enid Blyton.

I don't care what people think, I always totally adored Enid's stories. I still sometimes pretend to like Ginger Beer!

It's like going back in time!

I used to have this barbie:

And I saw it in an exhibition recently. That's right, my childhood toys are in historic exhibitions. So anyway, I just found the song from the cassette tape on youtube and it brought back so many memories! Including that one time when I was dancing so enthusiastically that I broke the glass light fitting in the living room.. :P

I don't really understand the video, but it's the song that matters lol! Listennn:

If you remember this song, or this barbie doll (with suction cup shoes lol) let me knowww!

Everybody now! YOU, ME, WORKIN' OUT BARBIE!
