lol I spend a lot of time on Google.

I don't know if this is an average of sorts, but I imagine it's just a count from when I last reinstalled windows (which wasn't all that long ago lol)

Basically, it just shows which hours of the day I most use Google - but it's the numbers that get me xD Take a look (click to see it bigger):

Gosh.

Dr Pepper & Noodles. Mmmm.

Well this morning I went shopping.

I spent all of my money.

At lest, all the money that I'd taken out of the bank, which was a fair bit.

Got all sorts of stuff, inc. new top from Next :) I love Next :D

However amongst all this money spending I did get a Big Issue, to make me feel a tad less guilty lol.

Harry Potter 3 is on later, I'm sure you'll join me in watching it ;)

I hope they love you like we do

I'm putting on glittery nail polish!!

Yeaahhh!! :D

I think there's a point in your like where you think 'Screw you guys, I want to look like a nine year old.'

xD

In other news, I love this band.

Also, have you lot been watching Summerhill? It's a kids show, but so far it's brilliant. Only two bits have aired, and you can see them here and here. The other two are on next week, I think. Look out for the character 'Stella', because the actress who plays her is going to be Lavender Brown in Harry Potter 6 :D (she's awesome)

Everybody's making love 'cause love is free...

lol this is going to sound like I'm going bonkers or something, but I don't actually remember making that last post.

However, as with all my other potentially-bonkers moments, I shall now swiftly move along and pretend it didn't happen lol.

Cheery song :D

I wish they put more than four songs on Heart FM, there are so many feel good songs out there that they're ignoring.

I would so kill...

...to do this.

asdhlhj;kasfasj;afhjasfl.

Well, maybe not kill. I would consider seriously injuring someone.
Or.. maybe giving them a bruise on the knee.

But I would SO enjoy it.

Teaching! Drama! In a boarding school! I've never even been anywhere near a boarding school before.

Except Truro. But there was no school at that point.

THAT IS BESIDE THE POINT.

THE POINT IS: I WANT TO GO, I WANT TO GO, I WANT TO GO.

Really.

OMGLOLWOW

I honestly thought I'd get about twenty.

I kept thinking "No wait- that's not it!" after every question lol.

But the timer thing on the side made me do things quickly because I didn't pay attention to how much time I had for each question lol.

I screencapped it so everyone would believe me lol :P

Can we climb this mountain? I don't know. Higher now than ever before.

Soo I went on a night hike yesterday, which was really good fun actually. You forget why you're even doing it sometimes, but all you need it a quick walk around in the dark and everything's dandy lol.

We did really well, and managed not to get lost (thanks mainly to Patti as always heh). Then on the way home we were talking about what we would put on a DofE Album, if we were going to. Here's a couple that I thought of..:

These Boots Are Made For Walking - Nancy Sinatra
Walk This Way - Aerosmith
Go the Distance - Hercules
There She Goes - The La's
Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves
Fields of Gold - Eva Cassidy

And these ones just because they have the right mood for walking heh:

Soak up the Sun - Sheryl Crowe
The Kooks - Naive
Third Eye Blind - Semi Charmed Life
Beautiful Day - U2
Suddenly I See - KT Tunstall
Put Your Records On - Corinne Bailey Rae

It's called "Picking The Bits Out Of The Yoghurt"

It's based on a true story :D

Hey look

In a moment of boredom and procrastination, I decided to google around and see what tips and tricks I could find about DofE Expeditions. And then I thought, wouldn't it be nice to share my newfound knowldge with the world? After a brief agreement with myself, I opened up blogger and here I am. Copying and pasting what I found. Take a look:

- When stopping for a quick rest, remember to drink water, or even Lucozade. Avoid fizzy drinks, they won't do you any favours. For a longer rest, cram some dry roasted peanuts down your throat. These things are excellent to eat as they have an absolutely huge energy content and don’t make your throat too dry. They are full of carbohydrates, which are slow release sugars so it keeps you perky for longer, rather than sugary snacks. Remember that you will need a good swig of water afterwards, however, so make sure there's still a fair bit in your water bottle first.

- When you cook at night, cook an extra billy of water to boiling whilst you eat, put carefully into a thermos then in the morning you have hot water to wash/make a coffee even before you get the stove going... makes life way more hospitable!

- To help avoid blisters, soak your feet in hot water and salt a few days before the expedition to harden your skin.

- Resealable freezer bags are amazingly good.

- The best hour to leave you camp and start walking is around 9 am, so get up around 7 am to have enough time to wash, eat and pack up.

- (Vanilla) Fudge. Super Noodles. Packet Tuna (NOT in tinned).

- Try using powdered milk in hot chocolate, because it uses less weight. Not everyone likes it though.

- In Welsh summers, you will see the grass snakes come out to play. But don't worry, they're not dangerous.

I had these dreams last night...

They were very strange, but I wrote them down while I still remembered both of them. They're both very short, but I did wake up in the second one... Take a look into my unconscious mind *does mystical swivelly thing with hands*

Dreaam one: Noel & Liam Gallagher from Oasis - Noel was dead. But sort of standing up and actually sort of alive. But actually lying on the ground too, but not really in a grave.
In hall where we ate at Granddads funeral. Standing up part of Noel is staring straight ahead. Liam comes and drops a photograph into the "grave" - on Noel's head. Then walks away.

Dream two: Am on some rocky type place with dragons. They're very small, not much bigger than me. They're really hungry (but not wanting to eat me/humans) so someone goes to find the dragon food, or something like that. Then I find myself on a different part of the rocks, with my mum and my brother. I mention to my mum that we need more food, and she gets a couple of things out of her handbag saying "Food? I've got loads of food. What do you want? Boy food? Girl food?" I say "dragon food" and she says that the food she has will poison them. Then she start scraping little flakes off what seems to be in the shape of a Russian doll, and is easy to cut through like wax. We decide to sprinkle it into the food that another group of dragons have (the food that was being fetched at the beginning). They have some kind of soup-like meal in a cooking pot and we think that if we put the human food flakes in, they'll all die of poison and we can give all their food stocks to the other dragons.

On hindsight, we weren't very nice or clever xD

we will walk in fields of gold...

When I woke up this morning I was going to go to school.
Then I remebered that Tutor Period had been cancelled again.
So I sat watching Dr Who online for a bit.
Then I realised it was getting late, and I actually had to go to school.
Then I started to get dressed and packing my bag.
But I couldn't find my note pad.
So I scrambled around my room for ten minutes. No luck.
Decided I'd have to go without it.
Lesson was supposed to be starting at that moment.
Tripped over some shoes, couldn't find the shoes I was supposed to wear for school.
Finally saw school shoes.
Accidentally stood on (not quite cooled down) straighteners. Ouch.
Put burnt foot in shoes.
Ran downstairs.
Realised I didn't have my keys.
Ran upstairs & got keys.
Went back down and opened front door.
It was raining.
Decided to screw it all and am now sitting here with Eva Cassidy on & trying to calm down a bit.

Let's hope I get better at this "getting to school without nearly dying" thing.

RIP Eva.

the colour of her eyes were the colour of insanity

Just realised as was writing down the date - one month to Valentine's Day! :O :O

Yeah that's exciting ¬¬

Anywho had a full cast rehearsal thing today. For those of you completely baffled, I'm doing backstage for the school performance of Calamity Jane.

I've been humming the songs all the way home lol.

Toyed with the idea of jumping on stage with a cowboy hat on and stealing the show, but then decided that I'd probably much prefer running around in the dark anyway xD

illness

I thought you might like to see how I'm doing. Uhh literally.

I'm still feeling poorly (and playing on Corel Photo-Paint) buutt I took I took some fun photos of my environment, seeing as I took nearly all the photos off this blog.

Lookie:

Oh-so-pleasant bin full of tissues! Hahha. You know you wanted to see that. There are also bits of Christmas in there that I forgot to throw away.
This is what my hair looks like when I don't attack it with straighteners. Now you know why I get up so early lol.
Harry the Hot Water Bottle! - the actual hot water bottle is hidden inside lol.
I dressed up Marvin... As a Grandma... I dunno, they get ill too, right?
Cosy slippers! :D So stylish lol.And finally, my super marvelous exciting amazing hot chocolate!

With a very, very secret recipe. BUT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU ANYWAY BECAUSE I AM NICE.

With bullet points. I can tell you're on the edge of your seat.

  • First, get a mug. I am using a rather brilliant Piglet mug that my mum bought yesterday.
  • Stick the kettle on. Make sure there is enough water in it first. (You can probably do this recipe with milk, if you are not fond of using water. Being a picky person myself, I don't mind if you break that rule)
  • Find some marshmallows (or buy some especially for the occasion) and chuck about four in (Hey! You're ill! You have to be generous. It's the law.)
  • Dig around your cupboards for some Golden Syrup. This is the key bit that I made up BY MYSELF. Measure about two spoonfuls in, or just tip the tin in and guess. You might as well. You're ill.
  • Get some hot chocolate powder. Make sure it's not a completely useless brand like Smart Price or something. That's a waste of golden syrup. Get something good like Cadburys or Galaxy. Or whatever. I use the FairTrade stuff, which is very tasty and is kind to farmer people. Or something. Stick in as much as you feel is necessary. Nobody will judge you for putting in more than the recommended amount in (especially if there's nobody else in the kitchen)
  • Tip some sugar in. Remember you've already got the golden syrup in there, and whatever sweeteners came with the hot chocolate powder. But why not, you're ill! I stick in about two teaspoonfuls.
  • By this time, there should be just enough time to pour in some cold milk. You should remember that this will affect the temperature of the drink, but there are extra steps you can take to make sure that bit's perfect.
  • Pour in your hot water and stir to your hearts content!
  • Leave standing/keep stirring until the marshmallows are completely melted. Otherwise they're pointless lol.

Stupid pigeons. Tchuh.

Hellooo!! So, I was thinking the other day, if I were to direct a film, who would I want to cast?

So then I began to scribble down my favourite actors and actresses, wondering which ones I'd actually get along with. Then I spent so much time thinking it through that I decided instead to just dedicate a post to them, because they're all so swish for their own reasons.

Raise your glasses, everyone, for:

Helena Bonham Carter
Johnny Depp
James McAvoy
Keira Knightley
David Tennant
Bonnie Wright
Harry Lloyd
Rupert Grint
Kate Winslet
The Hobbits
Julie Walters
Cate Blanchett

Aren't they lovely? Yes. Yes, they are :]

2008.. woo.

Got up at 2:3o this afternoon lol.

I considered getting up early, but I thought it would be a dishonest way to start the year. We all know that I'll be sleeping in for the rest of the year.

Ooh while I remember, I had this weird dream last night that I had seven children. They all had these weird talents lol xD

Hope you all have a good year! :D
