Goodbye 2007. It's been good.

I just ventured into sale-land and purchased some clothing. Shocker. I actually spent approximately £50. I feel sort of faint.

Anywhoo this is my post of 2007.

(I did have a big list of things I'd done here, but I deleted half of the posts it referred to. Sooo.. that bit got cut out)

Actually, it's been a pretty good year in general. In fact, probably one of the better ones compared to other years of my life :)

Goodbye 2007. It's been good.

Mm. Now I'm stuck for a title lol.

Hello, possums. Went for a walk in Coombe today - lovely.

We went into this little wooden thing because mum promised us deer, but all we could see from there was a squirrel and a couple of tiny birds. I suppose deer have better things to do on Boxing day than get stared at by small children and the Lindley family.

(I'm sorry that the "possums" link is so vague, but I do love HSR :P)

Merry Christmas, everyone!!

It's been a brilliant day so far, have got lots of lovely things that I will have to spend the next couple of days admiring :D

I hope that you have all got many wonderful presents and that none of you are worrying too much about your weight heh.

God bless x

Herod was very angry and sent the wise men to find Jesus

Eee only two doors left on my advent calendar!! :D How exciting :)

I don't really have anything to tell you lol, I'm only posting because I said I would.

I had a very nice day though, got up around noon-ish and sat around in my pyjamas until about three (doing all sorts of interesting things on the computer lol).

Then I watched some TV.

Then I had some tea.

Then I remembered to post on here.

xD I'm such a party animal ;)

But they could only find cruel King Herod

What is with me and listening to Take That while blogging? I suppose it's just blogging music xD

Today was actually pretty good. Scored a whole load of free food. And watched s'more Hamlet.

THEN we went to town, and I purchased a hat (which I have been coveting for a while). We also went to the waffle shop and stopped for some waffles. They were actually brilliant and huge. They had chocolate spread on and it was lovely.

And of course,

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS!! FINAALLLYYYY.

I'm so glad.

I'm gonna go get changed out of my sixth form clothes and fill up Harry the hot water bottle, and download some good tv off BBC iPlayer (which I have just recently fallen in love with)

Merry Christmas, everyone :)

Three wise men, Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar had followed the star to Jerusalem

Have now purchased all of the presents. Please don't tell me that there's someone else to buy for. Please.

Am thinking about not opening my Secret Santa present until Christmas.. Haven't saved anything so far and am thinking that it'd be nice to have something to open on the day.

Then again, I say that every year lol and I always open it within about an hour anyway. I can't really help it xD

Not the best atmosphere for working, but I think I can go with it.

In the fields near by, shepherds were looking after their sheep

Hello, children! xD I'm eating star shaped hula hoops BECAUSE I AM COOL.

Today in DofE we discovered who we have as our leaderrr! Yeaaahhh xD We got the best leader ever. He spent the evening telling us all that we should all think positively, which is always a good start :P

Am going to town with a couple of people tomorrow, I worked out that none of them had me as a Secret Santa, and I haven't asked the person who I'm buying for, so they're coming to help me get a present together heh.

Then I have a whole load of Drama homework to do. And by "A Whole Load" I mean A SHOCKINGLY HUGE AMOUNT lol. I'll get it done though.

Also tomorrow is ROBIN HOOD.

YES.

I'm so excited xD

Even though it won't be on for a week :( - but the week after that we get TWO EPISODES AT THE SAME TIME.

Haven't done a huge amount today (no lessons, you see), but I did take a new facebook photo!

My old one was nearly a year old and I feel bad for still using it xDD

Oh and I needed something to blog about :P

Listening to Westlife - Uptown Girl.
I was pretty much in love with that song when it first came out xDD *hides*

When Joseph and Mary finally arrived, Bethlehem was very busy

Evening :D

Skipped school (or at least, a couple of free periods lol) and went to town with a friends. We weren't looking for anything much, but we got some free chocolate off some guy.

I had to do a double take when I heard him lol. I was just like "Yeah, yeah free chocolate.. Wait- WHAT?!"

And he gave us two each! What a kind old man. Not that he was old. Or particularly kind, lol. He was just doing his job.

Mary made the long journey on a donkey

I got my silver award this morning! :D :D Fun stuff. I put the certificate into my Record of Achievement folder along with all my other achievements heh.

Am supposedly doing lots and lots of homework today.

Then - CRANFORD! xDDD I only watch it for Judi Dench and Imelda Staunton lol but the rest of it isn't exactly terrible.

Mary and Joseph had to go to Bethlehem

lol we went Go-Karting yesterday.

It was a lot of fun, but I got a good number of injuries heh.

If I drove fast enough I wasn't touching the seat xDD

Definitely something I'd do again, although maybe somewhere with a bigger track.. It was very difficult to overtake people without crashing into the sides lol.

Everyone had to return home to register for tax

Everyone loves the Dove adverts. They're honest and real, and generally females think they're the new sliced bread.

Personally, I've been rewatching it because the onslaught one has an AWESOME song in the background :P Siriusly. And it's crazily catchy. It really gets stuck in your head.

Edit: Nnnggghhh.. Good work, my YouTube friend.

At that time a law was passed

Went to see Outre. Weeiirrddd.

The play was pretty interesting, but it was HUGELY CONFUSING. I was a bit terrified at first, but then I sort of got bored of trying to figure out what on earth was going on. It got very, very loud, so I had to stick my fingers in my ears, and at one point the awesome projector thing broke so we had a minute or so to stare at Windows Desktop :P

We knew before we went that it was going to be a bit weird, so me and Steph guessed that it might be on the same level of weirdness as "An Oak Tree" (WHICH SAM TROUGHTON FROM ROBIN HOOD WAS IN :D) but it was far, far more weird than that. "Outre" makes "An Oak Tree" look like Shakespeare. Siriusly. Anywho, on a related note to Sam Troughton (vaguely)...

Mary was betrothed to a carpenter named Joseph

whoops - nearly forgot to post today...

Once I got home from school today I watched roughly 3 hours of Top Gear on Dave - somehow I still know nothing about cars. Although is anyone else reminded of Daniel Radcliffe by Richard Hammond?

Sorry, just thought I spotted a similarity.

Maybe it's because they're both short.

OH and I watched "Becoming Jane" on Youtube, but I got bored about 2/3 of the way through and cut to the end where they all look old because of makeup and stuff... xD

Night xx

A young woman named Mary lived in Nazereth

So today I discovered the closest name relative I've ever come across. Meaning, today I found a picture of an Edwardian actress called "Kitty Lindley" xD

I think she was American, because she was at Broadway, but she might have just moved there or something lol.

I found a picture of her and coloured her in xD

It all started in the holy land about 2000 years ago...

Opened my advent calendar today, which was brilliant. I love advent calendars. Almost more than the chocolate that's inside. It's like a promise that Christmas will be here soon :P

But on the inside of the door I think there's going to be a short sentence from the Nativity Story every day, and I've decided that instead of putting something like song lyrics in my title, I'd put that up there :D

And if I get round to posting every day, you might even get yourself the whole story in title-format xD

(I don't have to apologise for Christmas posts anymore because it's December xDD)

Yesterday at DofE we sorted out our walking group!! :D

Me, Patti, Rachael, Jess and this new girl who I think spells her name 'Neena'.

Neena hasn't ever done any DofE stuff before, including expedition, so it could be interesting to be walking with her heh. Also, has anyone else noticed that we keep picking up the new girls? lol. It's almost as if we were avoiding some people or something ridiculous.
