Whooaaa!!

I had this dream that I was in some kind of alien action film. IT WAS WAY AWESOME.

Basically it all started when me and this preteenish guy that I was babysitting or something - Let's call him Sam - were in a terraced garden (not unlike my own).

You know when there's about ten gardens in a row, with a small alley for bike riders at the back? At least, that's what my dad uses it for :P

So we were in this garden, and then we realised that the Weevils were coming to get us (this must have been due to the Torchwood Declassified that I was watching earlier in the evening :P) and we realised that if they discovered us in the garden, they'd go on into the house and kill my family. So then we got up and legged it down the alley away from the Weevils, and flattened ourselves against this wall - it's difficult to describe without marking it all out with my hands :P - They seemed to only want to check our garden, then for some reason decided that we probably weren't in, so they'd call a different time xDD

So then we were like PHEW. And we got up to go back home again when we realised that there was a Weevil sort of sniffing around on the other side of us - he hadn't seen us (I think they were blind in my dream). So we legged it the other way but there was one bit (at the end of all the gardens) where we had to go up some steps, but there were two little dogs and a goat already going up them. They realised that we were behind them and (because they were on the Weevils' side) they started to chase us too - then, because of the noise, the other Weevil spotted us and started racing down the alley.

We didn't have any other choice but to go into someone's garden - Sam made it into my garden and ran into the house. However I made a wrong turning and ended up having to jump over people's fences. Luckily the goat got stuck in one of the fences behind me and the Weevil was stuck somewhere else behind (and the dogs were probably off playing fetch with each other or something). So then I was home - yay! I ran upstairs & into my room (which, in my dream, looked a strange amount like a room in my Grandmothers house).

Then someone walked into my room - it wasn't the Weevils, but it was someone who I was just as happy to run away from.. I have no idea who it was, but he was definitely a bad guy. Anyway, he gave me some broken pieces from an old gold necklace that I never wear, and said something about being sorry that they'd had to break it up, but that there were bits of it that they needed.

I was like wtf, mate?

But then the dream ended. I don't think my subconscious could be bothered with anymore running around hehh.

For a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time

Why are earthquuakes always at night? I think I've only ever been in one during the day.

Actually two - but I didn't even notice one of them xDD

We had an earthquake last night, for those who aren't sure where this is coming from. It woke my parents up (as usual) but me and my brother snored right through (as usual).

OMG I actually snored last night! I was last half asleep, then I sort of heard this funny noise & I was like 'wth is that?' then I realised that it must've been me :P Found it rather funny but was too tired to actually laugh xD

But yeah, earthquakes. The one that I was actually awake for was in the second flat, and someone noticed that the TV was shaking lol. We weren't watching it, it was just making a loud noise. Like when your phone vibrates on a table... but rather a lot louder :P

Other than that though, m'fraid my experience with earthquakes is not even remotely cool or interesting. We did have fun little earthquake drills at school though, where we all clambered under the desks.

I remember sitting in the more boring lessons at SPEC and imagining what would happen if there was an earthquake, and the fact that if I was stuck under my desk, my only company would be Joshua Clayton and my packed lunch hahh. Awh, I miss SPEC.

Then we learnt about earthquakes in Geography when I came back to England, and we had to pretend to do an Earthquake drill xDD That was quite amusing.

And now I leave you with a distant memory from a Turkish beach. Or even, every drop of water in the whole country. I think they were still playing it 3 years after it was first released. For some reason I always connected it to Fanta in my head. They must've stuck it in the advert.

Am listening to Alanis Morrisette & sitting like a man :) Yuss.

Went into town today and bought my brothers birthday present. BUT I WON'T TELL YOU WHAT IT IS BECAUSE YOU MIGHT RUIN THE SURPRISE.

Especially those of you who didn't even know I had a brother. You guys are the worst with secrets ;)

Agh this hurts now, *sits normally* I don't know how they do it.

We're having bacon for tea! :D Yeahh eating piigggss. Brraap.

EDIT: Mr Simm is love.

EDIT2: OMGosh. Let me take you back to 1997 xD (includes creepy dancers, for those of you who need more persuasion ;) )

Ooh can I post this before the internet goes off?!

Going to Wales in FIVE WEEKS

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

LOL.

My entire computer screen turned upside down last night 8|

It was completely ridiculous, I couldn't do anything. In the end I had to turn my entire monitor upside down so that I could read the instructions to fix it xDD

Apparently during one of my many *head-desk*s, I managed to press Alt+Ctrl+Up and that made it turn upside down (although it depends on your graphics card apparently)

Ooh and yesterday (I forgot to mention!) I went to visit my old primary school!

It was so weird. It probably wouldn't that weird for most people, but I haven't actually been there for like 12 years. I think we visited about 10 years ago, but I remember nothing about that trip except that we had to do all sorts before we were actually allowed in (I think it was something to do with a paedophile)

Now, I'm going to get some breakfast, then get dressed then schooooooooool.

*hums Doctor Who theme*

Helloo :D

Went to dentist today:

I HAD TO HAVE AN X-RAY!!

It was so exciting, everyone had to leave the room xD

I had to stick this thing in my mouth and hold this thing (which looked like a hairdryer) up to my cheek. Then they all went out for about 5 seconds, and all trooped back in again. Twas awesome xD

Did I say why? I don't think I did.

Basically, I still have that baby tooth! :D Hahha. So they wanted to check that I didn't have an adult tooth underneath waiting to pop up. Buuut I didn't, so I get to keep my baby one :)

It pretty much means that I'm allowed to be childish and watch Disney films for the rest of my life :D :D :D

Speaking of films, watched Sweeney Todd.

It was brilliant.

It was also disgusting.

I had to watch some of it through my hands.

People say that it doesn't help, but it really does.

I'd recommend it to a friend. And also to anyone I encounter who asks.

Unless they're a barber, wouldn't want them getting ideas xD

In other news, I also went on a drama trip yesterday! Love drama trips. School trips in general, I gather, are often happy affairs.

The play itself wasn't amazing, but it was quite good. There were clever bits, but I didn't find it hugely entertaining. It was a bit like the sort of documentary they make you watch in history. Sometimes you got really good documentaries in history lessons, and sometimes you got dreadful ones about Herr Heinstenschlafen who got into a semi-heated argument with Herr Michtenstein about the annual assembly being held on a Tuesday. I suppose this "Testing the Echo" was a bit like one of the 'Okay' documentaries.

Hahh. Awh I used to like my history lessons, we used to sit and listen to stories :D It was just when we had to write completely useless essays (about things like the Weimar Republic and that man called Rasputin what had sex with animals) that the idea of jumping out of the window came about.

You're my kind of guy, because I like your style and you sound as horrible as me.

Just ate something healthy.

Voluntarily.

Is that world going mad?

Hahhah.

Today I stayed at school for my free periods, and I was looking up peoples names in the german dictionary (or the closest I could find anyway lol) then reading out the English lol.

I think mine was Tom-Cat (who'd've guessed it'd be something cat-related? lol). We did surnames and middle names too (we were sitting there for well over two hours) but I can't remeber mine. We had some funny ones though heh.

I've got a school trip tomorrow! Waheeyyy. It's a drama one though, I'm not going to visit a factory or anything new. Am off to Warwick Arts Centre to see something about being British or something lol.. - Have checked, no famous cast members :(

Btw - I finished series one :P

Baacck to schooooooool.

Helloo :) Went back to school today, although I didn't do much interesting stuff. Did some stuff about 'Translations' in English, learnt my drama lines at lunch and then was only needed for a prompt in drama - we were doing the bit at the end that I'm not in, because it's their weakest scene.

Well, of course it is - I'm not in it! :P xD Joking lol.

Did I tell you that I watched a video of my GCSE exam? Nearly died. I can never watch myself on film again :|

That said, I probably will.

Anyway, have got something rather terrible to tell you all.

Have been watching the first series of Torchwood xDDD Bwahahaha.

It's rubbish, and I know it's rubbish - so you don't have to tell me it's rubbish...

But I looooooove it.

Ianto is fricken awesome.

"Lots of things you can do with a stopwatch..." xDDD

Gosh.

I don't want to say it, but happy singles awareness day.

For those of you who feel pretty aware today, here is my humble gift. Enjoy it, my lovelies.

Those of you who are not single may not venture in that direction, you are not worthy.

Right, well, I need the loo. So that brings an abrupt end to this frivolity.

Arrgg!

So I was thinking what I should have for lunch.. then I remembered, I got mum to buy me some Pirate Pasta shapes from ASDA :D

So I was like, yeah man. That'd be an awesome lunch.

Look at the cool shapes (sorry about pic quality lol)
I poured it into the tin and - oh no! What is this rubbish?
Cannon balls?! Clearly some ridiculous attempt to fit something healthy in there or something. I eat pasta shapes all the time, but I'd never had this upleasant shock before.
I ate half of one.. But - as my dad would say - the royal nose was turned up. Ate the rest of it though lol.

It looked a bit more appetising in real life lol, promise!

Then I thought I'd play a quick game before starting on my English coursework. Now, I don't know if I've mentioned this on here (I think I might've), but I'm a very old user on a website called Neopets, which I used to play when I was supposed to be doing Homeschool back in Turkey.

Anyway, the aim of the website is that you have these pets, and you look after them by buying food and toys for them etc. and you earn the money ('neopoints') by playing games. I usually only ever go on there to play games (I think all my pets are actually dying of starvation lol) which is what I was going to do today.

I didn't realise it would take me an hour to get anywhere with the one that I picked. I'd never played it before, but it was the featured game (so I'd get double the money that I could usually get). You have to keep finding two tiles that match until there aren't any tiles left, but some of the tiles are underneath other ones and you can't always use all the tiles. If you end up without being able to click on anything then you have to start all over again. I had to reset five or six times in the last round :(

Anyway - to Hamlet!

Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka, the amazing chocolatier

Helllooo :D I'll keep it short:

+ Went to Cadbury world today. SO MUCH CHOCOLATE. I may explode at any given moment.

+ Watched Chocolat - Johnny Depp is unfair. Tarantulas are scary.

+ Was watching news when I got home, apparently they're spending loads and loads of money on Birmingham New St station, giving it a big staircase thing and big ol' glass roof and whatnot. It's completely ridiculous because the station is completely fine the way it is. It just needs a lick of paint, perhaps. But spending all that much when there's people dying of starvation in the world? I hate to sound like a broken record but it really does make you sick. The same goes for Hollywood. I've little objection to high-budget films, because they entertain people and they are often very creative. I do, however, object to the glamour of premieres and the ridiculous lifestyles that people live. It's all very well wanting to look nice for the cameras, but it's just plain selfish to go out and get some high priced bit of cloth with a label hanging off just so that you get a special mention in a stupid gossipy magazine.

Sorry, did I say I was keeping this short?

Hahh. Never mind then.

It's too hot to be February o.o

Went to Local Shops today. I know. Supporting the community and all that.

And I couldn't really be bothered to trek into town.

Took round Rachel's birthday present, then dropped off 'The Spook's Apprentice' back at the Library (good read for those lazies who can't be bothered to voluntarily read adult fiction).

Then I thought I'd go for a wander up Ball Hill, take a look in some charity shops etc.

Went into Woolies to see if they had a good price on Shrek 3, but unsurprisingly it was more expensive than the Woolies in town.

Then went into three charity shops in a row to take a look at the mouldy old films that nobody wants, to see if there were any mouldy old films that I did want.

Now this is the part where my 'I-care-too-much' side arrives and messes everything up. I'd decided to buy something from at least one of the shops, because I'd feel guilty turning my nose up at everything when people put in so much time and dedication to those shops and the charities that they go to.

Sooo I eventually decided to buy 'Fantasia' - you know, the Disney film?

I honestly can't remember hardly any of it, but I know that I used to watch it all the time at Nana's house when I was a kid...

Sooo.. Yeah. It was only 49p. And it went to old people or something.

Use it well, old people. Get yourselves a sticky bun from Greggs or something.

Marry him, your father will condone you. Marry me, your father will disown you.

Got a new lampshade! :D Check it oouut:

'tis rather colourful lol. Got it from Ikea yesterday.

Also went to that "Rock It" thing yesterday evening. Was pretty good, The Caprines were obviously the best (not that I'm biased or anything lol).

I have so much work to do this half term. Gahh. Wish me luck.

My feet hurt. Ouch.

'Cause I'm a backstage ninjaa *Final Countdown plays*

Today went really well. Everyone was really nervous, they knocked the pies all over the oven and someone got caught in the light, but I don't the others realise how minor that is lol xD

The cast were lovely to us this time, they usually got out of the way and shut up if you told them to, especially the ones who knew why we were making them do what we told them to do. We have a big fireplace and a rail of clothes and massive armchairs that we have to get through a big crowd of people and down the stairs and it really helps when they don't just stand right in front of you.

Found myself giving people things to hold more than once. I think one poor guy ended up standing around with a log just there like 'wtf, mate?'.

Still, most of it ran like magic. And we've got Laura tomorrow so things will hopefully run even more smoothly. Fingers crossed heh.

Take me back to the blaack hills..

Just had a full day rehearsal with Calamity Jane.

Nggghh.

There are a lot of people in that cast, aren't there? I wish they wouldn't all crowd into the tiny box that is the wings.

On a happier note, PANCAKE DAAAYYY!!!! :D

Excellent.

ETA: Grr. Essays. Completely pointless.

What exactly am I supposed to do with my essay about Emma and Mr Elton when I leave school?

Probably the same thing I'll do with the essay about Frank Churchill and Jane Fairfax.

And all them essays about Brecht and Shakespeare.

And Crash.

This.

Then had a meeting at home about some Youth thing until 7.

Then had a quick meal before the meeting about Sunday school which started at 7:30.

Got home at 9.

Good thing I haven't got to do any homework for tomorrow lol.

because the treasure that you measure- no, measure of the pleasure- no.. wait.. errmm..

I was thinking about films that are coming out this year, and I cam across a page on imdb where you can look up everything that's coming out in the uk in 2008. Here are a few of them:

Really, really exciting:

The Other Boleyn Girl - 7 March (This looks really good, despite the rubbishy accents)
The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas - 17 September (The book was amazing. As long as they don't change the ending, I don't see how they can go wrong)
Prince Caspian - 27 June (No explanation necessary)
Harry Potter & HBP - 21 November (No explanation necessary)

The Ones with Potential:
Confessions of a Shopaholic - 24 October (although I can't believe they moved the setting to America)
Madagascar: The Crate Escape - 5 December (the first was good, but I'm not huge on sequels)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 22 May (George Lucas and Steven Spielberg... but the title alone sounds a bit iffy, this might just be suitable for people who are already fans)
The Spiderwick Chronicles - 21 March (the title does not sound good for arachnophobics, might have to make someone else watch it first to check that it's Katrina-friendly)

Kill Me Now:
High School Musical 3 - 10 October (the whole idea of it makes my brain fizzle angrily at being put through the first two)

Februuaaaryyy :D

Tried to take off glittery nail polish, but it left a sort of yellowish stain ("you look like a smoker", my oh-so-tactful mother says)

Soo I'm putting it back on for now, all the other nail polish in this house has dried up. I might have to venture into town and get a better colour, which is less smokerish.

Went to the library to get "The Spook's Apprentice" out. Tim Burton is apparently making it, and I couldn't remember if it's any good.

It is so far heh. How exciting! Can't wait to see what Burton does with it.

Also, am going out to TGI Fridays for a birthday this evening, but we're meeting at the skydome. No idea why. Thought maybe we were going to see a film, but I looked at the listings and the only films that start at 7ish were Juno and Penelope - neither of which really strike me as her sort of thing lol.

Anyway, to the nail polish!
