So this morning's Calvin & Hobbes is set in Calvin's bed. I hate it when it's set in bed, as I have always just gotten out of bed when I read it & so I always skim read the actual comic and just sit there like 'sleeeeeeeeeeep :|'.

Had my drama performance yesterdayyyy. It went well but the dress rehearsal was, to quote myself, a "minor catastrophe."

It's the only way I can think of to describe it lol.

The actual performance was good though. Sort of.

Everyone keeps asking me about this, and the only real answer I can come up with is this:

I think the play was difficult because it's not brilliant. However I think we did the best that we could with it at our level of experience and with the time that we had.

There you go, that sounded somewhat fancy. I might stick it in my evaluation :P

Went to the pictures today...

...twice lol.

Once to see Horton Hears a Who with my friend.
It was pretty damn good. Go watch it.

Then to see Son of Rambow with the siblings.
IT WAS AWESOME. Go watch it.

You know...

..I don't really have very many I LOVE DRAMA moments anymore. Not as many as I used to.

But when I do have one, it's a million times bigger and better.

Right now, I feel like I could easily do this for the rest of my life.

lol, don't worry, it'll die down tomorrow and be replaced with OMG WHYYY WHYY BRAIN WHYYY?? by Monday as I will probably seriously doubt my ability to make decisions.

Well.. it wasn't that bad. It all probably seems worse because I'm ill (whooo! It's that lovely bronchitis again m'dears).

They made me sit down on a regular school chair, and they didn't actually cut my hair.

BUT THEY BACK COMBED IT AND CURLED IT AND IT HURT AND THEY'RE GOING TO DO IT AGAIN.

And they painted horrendous colours onto my face. And made me wear a skirt.

Hahha.

Take drama kids, you know what's best.

EDIT: Nothing like a bit of loud music when you're ill. Hahha.

Today we are being visited by some old family friends (one of which lived with us when I was a baby) and we were talking about my second cousin what is "famous".

I always forget who he is & what he's called.

So, for future reference, I am related to Lee Brennan from 911.

Eh. Illness. It is not pleasant. I think I've got a fever again, no idea why it keeps happening at this time of the day. Will have to get up and get some kind of drug from the kitchen cupboard at some point in the near future.

You know what? I still can't believe that there are people who don't love travel. I mean, I can.. but at the same time I think they must be completely bonkers. I find myself reading random stuff like this and being really interested. I don't even drink coffee, and I have no intention of going to Vietnam, but I really enjoy reading it all the same. Strange that, it's probably just the fever talking xD

Afternoon! :D

I'm in a good mood today, because I have the whole of tomorrow off from school :) Although I can't actually speak properly because of my throat lol.

I normally have Tuesday Week 2 free of lessons, but they're letting us miss tutor period too. Apparently you don't have to go if you don't smoke.

:/ Not sure who exactly is going to actually go... I don't know any smokers who actually go to tutor period anyway lol. But I'm not going to go so everything is wonderful :D

Ooh and I'm going to town to get my DofE pictures lol. None of them are particularly good, but I'll stick them on the Hideaway anyway.

I don't really have anything else to say.. Except that you should all go and listen to The Humans Are Dead by Flight of the Conchords.

Well.. I'm back.

And.. I'm not particularly proud of myself. I don't really think I was particularly challenged.

I really missed my friends that weren't there. Especially the ones that usually went, but also the ones who I just hadn't seen in a while.
