I know that it's your soul but could you bottle it up?

Yes, I saw Avatar.. You all know what's coming. Here is the inevitable "look at mee! I'm a smurf!" picture... (click to make it big):

I maybe got a bit lazy with the stripes and the little glowing dots but it was late & I wanted to finish it before going to bed..

Here's the start/finish comparison, just in case you were worried that my nose DOES look like that now lol.

Hope you're all well & not sick of all this graphicy stuff. I just love doing it too much :)

badoobap!

I just read the BAFTA Nominations list, and I've seen three of the films. That's right, just three.

Coraline
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
The Gruffalo

I think that this maybe says something about the films I spend my time watching.

I've now seen all thirteen released episodes of Glee. I think that maybe says something too.

(Edit 24/01/10) NEWSFLASH: I've seen Coco Before Chanel now too. It's quite good.

I know I go on about this film a lot...

"Uhh I have a name.. and it's a boy's name too!"

(Also, I think it must have been at least a month or two since I last watched Anastasia)

tap dancing + rollerskating = win.

I can't tap dance, and I'm not particularly amazing in rollerskates either.

So Gene Kelly gets the award for 'most awesome' right here:

Oh, Mr Todd.

And though I'll think of you I guess, until the day I die,
I think I miss you less and less as every day goes by, Johanna.
And you'd be beautiful and pale and look too much like her
If only angels could prevail we'd be the way we were, Johanna.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Is going to be awesome.

These guys are so cute:

This is what they're all wearing to the wedding, which they're actually going to start filming on the 10th of August. I love Hermione's dress, even if it doesn't suit the character..

It looks a little creepy but..

Check out this trailer. It's called "Dorian Gray".

BEN BARNES! BEN BARNES! BEN BARNES! It will be amazing.

The only downside is that it looks like he spends the whole film with women who aren't me. Haha.

No but it does look good. And it's based on a play by Oscar Wilde! Must be good.

Tehee!

Okay so it's like 2am, I just rather noisily made myself a tuna sandwich and now I've got the giggles!

I just feel like you should be updated on this stuff haha.

I saw Harry Lloyd on Taking The Flak this evening and pretty much died in this very chair, then I saw the new Alice in Wonderland trailer and died all over again.

I love soundtracks.

I think this is one of those things that I don't actually go on about as much as I should.

Soundtracks are brilliant.

I've spent quite a lot of the day listening to them.

lovelovelovelove.

Soon their world will come calling for us, but this is the space they cannot touch

You GUYYYYSSS! Robin Hood was GOOD this week! YES.

No outlaws though :'(

But the guy that played "Young Guy of Gisborne" was born on EXACTLY THE SAME DAY AS ME. And he's in the BT adverts. And he was in "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging". Not that I did my research or anything..

Anywho.

I built a revision den today.

But I also did a fair bit of revision too, so it evens out :D

The lighting in my room is now prettier than when I took that photo, but I'm sure we'll all cope.

For tonight I have three items lined up:

- Make a cake (the eggs are going out of date)

- Eat strawberries (when mum gets home)

- Watch Peter Pan (the 2003 live-action version)

My brother was watching Peter Pan on wednesday, but my mum & I missed nearly all of it due to other commitments. So we plan to make up for it today :D

I'm not afraid to admit that I was wrong.

Okay I saw '17 Again' today (totally legally, obviously) and I have an announcement to make.

Zac Efron is not the total blathering lump of ridiculousness that I've always made him out to be. He actually can *hesitates* ...act.

HSM IS STILL FORBIDDEN AND HORRIFIC THOUGH :|

Goshh like this last whole PAGE of posts has been about dudes. I'll try to stop.

At 2:35am, when you have no reason to be awake,

everything seems ridiculous and joyful.

Why (EDIT: which) is how I like things best.

So I guess that's the reason that I'm still awake.

Lovely.

Need to be awake in six and a half hours to be ready in time for church.

No problem. Haha.

Watched two films today. (Okay, yesterday.) The first was Coraline, which I saw in 3D at the pictures, and the second was Catch Me If You Can which is that awesome Leonardo DiCaprio film about that super clever guy.

If you're a bird... well, I think you can work out the rest.

Jamelia - Beware of the Dog
A-Ha - Take on Me
Salt n Pepa - Push It
Metro Station - Shake It
Uptown Girl - Billy Joel
Alesha Dixon - Let's Get Excited

These songs are distracting me from my work, but I love them anyway. Haha.

I watched The Notebook for the first time last night, I was expecting it to be trashy and rubbish.

It was brilliant.

Oh dear.

Um, yes, homework.

Happy Tenth Birthday, Mulan.

So Mulan came out in Britain ten years ago today. How exciting!

As many of you may know/remember, I actually went through a time of watching this film pretty much every day. Quite rightly, as it is a truly awesome film. Much better than the other Disney girl films (though they all rock too hahha).

For those who haven't seen it, Mulan is about a chinese girl who's a bit rubbish at being graceful and pretty, and feels like she won't ever be able to bring honour to her family. Soo she runs off to the army, pretends to be a man and saves China. Basically :D

Now, if you have time, go watch it. Especially if you have never done so before.

If you don't have time, perhaps just go check out the songs.

Enjoyyy :D

Pirates Four?

Plans for a fourth pirates of the caribbean film recently came to my attention (yes, I get my news from CBBC Newsround..)

Another PotC film? Are they going bonkers? The third one wasn't as bad as people say, but it really wasn't good enough to be getting more sequels, surely! I'm also feeling slightly let down by Mr. Depp, who despite his usual claims of freedom and artistry seems to be tying the everlasting knot of "oh, that's that pirate bloke!" and "isn't he that one what had dreadlocks and eyeliner?"

After all the diverse and different films that he's made over the years, surely he isn't really doing a fourth film with exactly the same character. It can't be just for the money, as Depp is fortunate enough to be perfectly wealthly (to the extent that he has somehow purchased an entire island, an accomplishment that I did not know was possible until he managed it). I can't imagine that it is for love of working with his fellow actors either, for despite their pretty faces and lovely personalities, Knightley and Bloom hardly match up to his level of acting ability.

I'll probably still pay to go and see it though. Even if I'm just going with some equally silly fangirl and we just natter about how pretty he is for the whole film.
